Sergio Chacón


Professional Experience 

Starting his professional career at an international law firm in Hong Kong, Sergio joined the tax department of Andersen Tax & Legal providing tax advice on direct and indirect taxation both to individuals and corporate enterprises, as well as participating in due diligence and reestructuration processes.

Afterwards he joined PwC's Global Mobility department where he provided advice to individuals, mostly expatriates and impatriates, along with tax planning for family businesses. In addition, Sergio has filed tax returns for residents, for non-residents, and for taxpayers under the special tax regime for workers in Spanish territory, and has been involved in several tax proceedings.

He currently works as Associate in Benow Partners' tax department.


  • Undergraduate Law degree, Universidad de Católica San Vicente Mártir.
  • Master's degree for accessing the legal profession, Universidad Carlos III. 
  • Master's degree in Tax Advice and International Taxation at ISDE.
  • Course US International Taxation, University of Florida – Frederic G. Leving College of Law.
